Bears

So I was been skiing at Stowe for the past week or so, and as I was driving up,
I saw a sign that said "Bears Crossing." I have always been afraid of bears, until that I realized
that bears don't stay around where there is a lot of people. A lot of people are are scared of bears,
but let me get this straight: Bears don't attack people unless they get aggravated (with the exception of grizzly bears,) and they don't usually attack people. The last time someone got attacked by a bear on the Appalachian
Trail was in the 18th century. The people who are afraid of bears don't understand that bears hardly attack anyone. If you are camping out in the wild, with food a bear can smell, and you give it to him/her then you will be fine. But if you don't give the bear the food, then it may attack you. One swipe of claws on the neck could
easily kill you.
